1 Month Old!!

Happy 1 month birthday to my sweet funny little boy! You are now 22 inches long, and 10 pounds 4 ounces! You have clearly mastered the skill of eating. You also enjoy grunting, playing with your tongue, and singing in your sleep. You like spending time on your activity mat and like listening to your giraffe play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Although you don't seem to pay much attention to the actual pictures you do tolerate it when Daddy and I read stories to you, and you listen intently when I hum in your ear. The doctor said you are "perfect" and I have to say I agree with him. Daddy and I are loving watching you grow and see how much you are changing everyday!

Grayson had his first photo shoot at our house last week. He did so great! I guess there's not much skill in sleeping and looking peaceful for the camera, but he does have it down to an art. Ha! Thank you so much to Nicole from Raspberry Rain Images for capturing our little peanut at 2 weeks old!

Bath Time Fun!

Grayson was able to take is first real bath at 2 weeks old. Not one of those sponge baths, but a real soak in the water bath. He loves taking baths. The cooing and babbling when he is getting his hair washed is just the cutest!

Welcome Grayson!!

As many of you know, our sweet little Grayson arrived via C-section on Nov. 22nd. It was determined during a sonogram on the 22nd that he was weighing in at a whopping 9lb. 4oz. and we made the decision not to wait any longer. To our surprise, 1 call to the O.R. by the doctor and we were scheduled for surgery at 5:30 the same day!

At 5:45pm our little man made his appearance. His stats were a little under the estimated weight, but he was a healthy 7lb. 12oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. Healthy, head full of hair, and a very mellow personality (just like his daddy). Needless to say, we have so much to be thankful for!
