5 Months Old!

Grayson turned 5 months old today. We celebrated by taking him to Grapevine to see Thomas the Tank Engine for a train ride. It's hard to believe that it's been 5 months, but I also wonder what we ever did without this little man.
Grayson is:
*tripod sitting, but only for a short amount of time before falling over
*eating cereal- His favorite is rice cereal. He likes barley too, but not oatmeal.
*sleeping without being swaddled
*sleeping through the night........from time to time :) I have to admit, I secretly enjoy the night feedings.
*playing in his activity jumper- He will push the buttons to make the music play and loves spinning the dog and cat toy

*noticing Zoey and Ruger- He likes petting Ruger, Zoey stills has no interest in the little man. Grayson will giggle at them when they are playing and chasing each other now.

RANGERS FAN IN THE MAKING..........

whether he likes it or not...........

Story Time With Cousin Tessa

Grayson just adores his cousin Tessa. He lights up when she is around. I would say the feelings are mutual. When Tessa is over she loves playing with Grayson and watching him eat. She especially likes helping with bath time and story time before bed. I was able to capture the moment the last time she was here.

My First Easter

Our family is so blessed to have the best neighbors on the planet! Last year we began a tradition with them enjoying brunch together at Blue Mesa followed by an egg hunt in their backyard. Last year at brunch we shared our big news that we were expecting. This year was even more special now that Grayson is here. We were lucky that the rain held off and we were all able to enjoy the egg hunt in the back yard. Presley and Tatum were such good helpers in finding eggs for Grayson! They love him so much and even though Grayson can't say it, I know the feeling is mutual.

Playing and Spitting

Everyday we are noticing new things Grayson is able to do. Just recently he has figured out what fun the activity bouncer can be. He has realized it's not just for sitting in, but all of those little gadgets do something. He can sit in that thing for quite a while and stays entertained. He is super focused while he is in there like he is solving all the worlds problems.
G has also started eating cereal just about 2 weeks ago. He is doing so great with it! We have tried rice and oatmeal so far, and rice seems to be his favorite at this time. In the last couple of days Grayson has discovered lots of sounds he is now experimenting with. Along with this, he has learned new tricks he can do with his mouth. He particularly likes to try these tricks when he is eating.

Bluebonnets

Well in true Texas style, we took Grayson out to take pictures in a bluebonnet patch near the house. He was so interested in the bluebonnets we could not get him to look at the camera once!! He really loves being outside!
