Our Little Mover and Shaker

I FINALLY got it on video! I have been trying for a week now to get video of Grayson flipping from his back to his stomach. It was one of those things were I would sit there, phone in hand ready to video, for 30 minutes and the minute I walk out of the room and come back I find him on his stomach already flipped. It was like he was playing a joke on me. Well today Grayson finally decided to let me video his little flip. He is getting pretty good at it. He has figured out if he throws his feet over the rest of him will follow. He is even getting the basics of the army crawl down, but not going more than a couple of inches at this point. I have a feeling it won't be long and we will be babyproofing..........

Full As A Tick And Twice As Fuzzy

My grandma use to use that expression especially on holidays after a big meal. I would say that is how Grayson was feeling after his first taste of rice cereal tonight. I've been reading in the baby books that you should not be surprised if when giving your child cereal that they may just spit it right out as they do not know what to do with it. Well Grayson did not at all have this problem. If he could talk he probably would have asked why I had not been feeding him cereal for the last month.   :)

4 Months

Our little stinker turned 4 months old today!!! While he is not sleeping through the night, there is SO much he is doing! Grayson has recently started grasping his toys, and he seems to be entertained with them for short periods of time. He has been flipping from his stomach to his back for a while now, but just a day ago has he started flipping from his back to his stomach. He doesn't mind tummy time and has figured out how to slowly get from one place to another ooching his way along. He is talking up a storm. I'm not quite sure what it is that he is saying, but he has an opinion about everything these days! We are still swaddling the little guy, but he seems to somehow break out of the swaddle during the night to find his hands so he has something to suck on during the night. I guess he is a multitasker and needs to stay busy, even in his sleep. He is changing so much, and it is so exciting to see! One thing that has not changed is his disposition. He is such a happy baby, like all the time! Hearing his giggles and seeing his smiles are truely the best parts of my day!

Discovering Toys

Usually while I am getting dinner ready Grayson likes to kick around on the floor or sit in his swing. Today I decided to put him in his Bumbo with his tray and a couple of toys. I fully expected him to start fussing fairly quickly. Surprisingly he really seemed interested in his toys, specifically his Bendy Ball.

 In the past, we have put toys in front of Grayson and he would just look at them for a short amount of time and lose interest. He is now starting to grip certain toys and is taking more interest in play. :)
