Nothing is better than hearing a baby laughing, unless it's your own baby. I think I will probably wear this video out I love it so much. Thank you to our sweet Linnie for loving our little guy and sending us videos of these moments during our work day. Our little man is so lucky to be loved by so many!

One Quarter.......
Okay, so Grayson is 3 months old today, which is technically one quarter of his first year. I see all of my friends who have kids that range in ages from 2 years to teenagers. I remember when some of these ladies were pregnant with said children, and it seems like it was just yesterday. I am praying that Grayson does not grow up so fast, but just in case, I am enjoying every minute I can. I know people say "you can't get this time back", and I'm taking it to heart. On the brighter side, as he gets older the more fun he is! It is such a joy to see him learn and do things for the first time.
Grayson is now 13lbs. 2 oz. and approximately 26 inches long. He has endured his first minor surgery, his first trip to Acute Care, and his first double ear infections. He is baring weight on his legs when we pull him up, trying to flip from his back to his tummy, and has starting grasping objects from time to time. The best part is that he recognizes Mommy and Daddy's voices, and has the BEST smile when he sees us. Life could not be any sweeter for my little family. Happy 3 month birthday little man!!! Thank you for making my life feel so complete!

I Think I Can, I Think I Can!!!
We have been enjoying tummy time with Grayson for several weeks now. He has certainly strengthened his neck muscles and is pretty steady when holding his head up when he is on his tummy. Recently, I have noticed he is trying to lift his mid section off the ground. He will inch his knees to his chest and on occasion make it from one end of the quilt to the other end by just inching along. I am fully expecting that before long he will have a carpet burn on his forehead since he likes to bury it in the carpet when trying to inch forward. I am hoping he will learn to support his upper body with his hands and arms before this happens. All boy already! :)
Cheese Balls and Gummies in My Future.........
This was Grayson's first week at daycare, and while it was tough on Mommy, Grayson LOVES it! He loves Aunt Linnie and so enjoys watching all the kids play! While his diet consists of strictly formula at this point, he has learned that when he is big enough he will get to enjoy cheese balls and gummies at snack time with the rest of those cool big kids! This is a very exciting thought to Grayson. :) Aunt Linnie is the BEST, and to ease a nervous mommy's mind she even sent pictures this week to show us how happy G has been. What a blessing she is to us and Grayson!
If You Just Listen, You Will Learn I Have Important Things To Say!
Grayson is cooing and babbling up a storm. He loves to talk to his animals on his play mat and also to Mommy and Daddy. His favorite time to talk to us is when he is getting his diaper changed. I guess the feeling of a clean diaper brings out the chatter box in him. :) He and Daddy also have guy talk at night sometimes.
